WWI German Stick Grenade

Photorealistic model of a World War I German stick grenade based on reference with some artistic interpretation used where reference was scarce, for example the white writing on the head and paper at the base.

Blueprint with one measurement in inches, converted to metric and the other dimensions were approximated by scaling.

Three more reference photos used to create this model. It was tricky to find reference photos that had the grenade intact, many of the remaining actual units (not replicas) have rusted over or degraded entirely.
